Cookie Policy

This policy explains how Vedatra Scalable Stacks Private Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on vedatra.com — and, just as important, which ones we do not use.

This Cookie Policy should be read with our Privacy Policy. It applies to vedatra.com, including Insights and the operator CMS at /admin.

We currently use essential cookies only. We do not set analytics or marketing cookies on the public site. If that changes, we will update this page before any non-essential cookie is enabled.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can keep a session open, remember a choice, or help a site measure traffic. Similar technologies include local storage and server logs.

Cookies may be first-party (set by vedatra.com) or third-party (set by another domain). Duration is either session — deleted when you close the browser — or persistent — kept until they expire or you delete them.

2. Cookies We Use

The table below lists cookie categories. Only the essential row is active on vedatra.com today.

TypePurposeDuration
EssentialRequired for admin authentication, security, and core operation of vedatra.comSession, or 24 hours for the admin session cookie
FunctionalRemember preferences or cookie acknowledgement. Not currently set on the public siteNot in use
AnalyticsHelp us understand how visitors use the website. Not currently usedNot in use
MarketingUsed to deliver advertising. Not currently used on vedatra.comNot in use

3. Essential Cookies in Detail

Essential cookies are required for the Site to operate securely. They do not require consent under typical EU guidance when they are strictly necessary, and they are the only cookies we set today.

3.1 Public site

The public marketing pages do not require you to sign in. We do not set an identification cookie merely because you read a page. Our hosts may still issue a short-lived technical cookie or use your IP address in a server log to deliver the page and to absorb abuse.

3.2 Admin session

Authorised Vedatra operators who sign in to the CMS receive an httpOnly session cookie. That cookie authenticates the operator, is not readable by page scripts, lasts 24 hours, and is used only for the CMS. The public contact form does not set it.

3.3 Abuse controls

The contact form includes a hidden honeypot field. That field is not a cookie. It exists so automated submissions can be dropped before they are stored.

4. Cookies We Do Not Use

We do not currently use the following, on the public site or in the CMS:

  • Third-party analytics platforms
  • Advertising or retargeting pixels
  • Social-media tracking cookies
  • Cross-site marketing profiles
  • Functional preference cookies that remember UI state for visitors

If we later introduce analytics or another non-essential cookie, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for consent before the cookie is set.

5. How We Use Cookie Information

Information from essential cookies is used only to:

  • Keep an authorised operator signed in to the CMS
  • Protect the Site and APIs from automated abuse
  • Deliver pages over HTTPS

We do not use cookies to build an advertising profile, to sell a list, or to track you across unrelated sites.

6. Managing Cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Instructions are published by each browser vendor. You can also use private browsing.

Blocking essential cookies does not stop you reading capabilities, Insights, or the contact page. It will prevent an operator from staying signed in to the CMS.

Do not send us a request to “opt out of sale” in the sense of a US advertising statute — we do not sell personal information and we do not run ads on this site. A deletion or access request is handled under the Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Cookies

Pages may link to other sites. Those sites may set their own cookies once you leave vedatra.com. We do not control them.

Embedded media is not used on the public Site in a way that should set a third-party advertising cookie. If an Insights article later embeds a player that does, we will treat that as a change to this policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. The “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will change. A move from “essential only” to any analytics or marketing cookie will be described here before it is switched on.

9. Contact

Questions about cookies or this policy can be sent to the same address as other privacy requests.
